Please take a moment to introduce yourself by clicking “post new topic” or by responding to this thread. I’d love for you to give a brief story about yourself so that your new classmates and I can get to know and remember you. I will start by introducing myself.

My name is Claire, and I will be your teacher. Right now I am living with you in China, because though I am an engineer at Princeton University, I have taken a gap year to come to Beijing.
One fun fact you can remember me by is that I love to dance! My favorite type of dancing is ballet, but I enjoy modern, jazz, and hip-hop as well. When I was just a little bit older than you are now, I went to New York City to dance at a studio on Broadway for the summer. I danced every day from the morning until the evening and though I was often very tired, I was very happy.
Hello, Everyone. I'm Jay Lin. In an American high school, my students call me Mr. Lin and you can feel free to do the same. As you may or may not know, I used to teach in an American high school and lived in America for 15 years. I was happy t be back in China and am now living in Beijing with my wife and my one-year-old daughter, Camellia. When I'm not working, I spend time swimming and dancing. But unlike Claire, I'm a beginner in dance.
To end this self-introduction, I leave you with a question. What kind of dance do you think I practice?
