I think Charlie is better than the other kids because he grows up in a poverty enviroment, he can not have everything he wants, and he should think of his family. That is why Charlie has compassionate and Mr. Wonka wants him to choose him to be the next master of the huge chocolate factory. And the other few kids grow up in a rich, perfect enviroment, they do not have any trouble on their way, so they all think they are everything's centre and the other people will think they are very bad child. That what I think where Charlie is much nicer than the other few kids.

Hello,Laraine

In the book Charlie and the chocolate factory,Charlie is much nicer than other four children who has the Golden Ticket.

Charlie's family is so poor and they can't afford all seven members of the family's food.Charlie knows his father works very hard, so he is compassionate. He cares about his family. Not like other four children are very selfish. Even his family is so poor, everyone of his family loves him. They gives him warm, not at money, not at nice clothes...they love him from their heart and Charlie can feel thhe love. It's not like other children's parents, spoiled their children but did't make them feel their love, only get what they want to have.

Charlie grow up in this poor but lovely enviroment. It makes him become a nice and compassionate boy.So Mr Wonka gives his chocolate factory to Charlie at last.

Excellent work, Enya. My favorite line is "They love him from their heart, and Charlie can feel that love." Well said. I will send you some additional comments. But this was beautifully thought out, and you set up the introduction exactly right. And, of course, I am happy to see you using the word "compassionate" from class.

One thing, though, please go back to regular black typeface. The rose is a little hard to read, pretty though it may be.

Charlie is a boy who is much nicer than other kids. When Charlie is small, he has to do everything by himself. Nobody will spoil him. He has to fit everything by himself; it will make him become nicer than other kids. The most of other kids, their parents spoil them. If their child ask for something, they will give them. And those kids think their parents will give them everything, it is make them not nice like Charlie.
