Hi Everyone,

I want to work on vocabulary from When Jessie Came Across the Sea  tomorrow. It would help if you could number the pages of your book this way:

On the page starting "Once, in a poor village far from here... " put a 1 where you can see it easily.

Turn the page and put a 2 on the page beginning  "In the morning..."

Then put a 3 on the page that begins "One evening, toward the end of summer. Continue numbering all the pages that have writing on them. But don't number the pages that are just pictures.

By the time you get to the page that begins  "On a fine fall day," you should be on page 10 and there are 18 pages altogether in the book.

I hope that makes it easier for us to read and look at words together.

Looking forward to class with you.  Laraine
