Homework for the 15th Class

For homework, please finish reading Bridge to Terabithia.

Print out the Venn diagram template you will receive over email. Bridge to Terabithia tells a story of a friendship between two individuals who are both similar and different from each other. These differences and similarities help build a friendship that is very strong between Jess and Leslie. Using the Venn diagram, write down your ideas about how the author compares and contrasts Jess and Leslie. I provided one example. Write down 5 differences for each side, and 3 similarities in the middle section. Please have this filled out before our class Saturday morning (China time)

I will commended this book to others, because this book can teach us how to make friends. It let we know two different person also can be friend. Between them we can see what are changing their relationship. When Leslie die how does Jess felt. It let we know what is friend, and why does friendship is valuable. It also can let us recall our mind So I think it is a great book.

1. different: family [rich and poor] character[out-going and introverted][fearless and tolerate] hobby [adventure and draw] enviroment [city and small town] similarities they both like illusion, both like play, both want to have friends.

2. I will recommend this book to others. It's a really sad story and also is a nice story. This book is talk about friendship. As for me, I think friendship is hard to control. I will distrust them, I will feel strange and get angry to them. Not just me, we all did something that you want to say sorry to your friends. But in this book, I can see innocent friendship, Leslie won't call Jess live in what kind of family, and Jess also trust her. They are happy all the time, just because they are together. Maybe they have many trouble on their way, but they both don't want to give up each other. That are the real friends should do. Maybe the story should has a happy ending, or maybe not, but the process they spend it's the most importsnt thing. It tells me how to be a good friend, and it can't just to tell me.

I will recommend this book to another students. This book is talk about imagination. Jess and Leslie are friends, both of them are students and they have good imagination. They image a nation and the nation’s name is Terabithia. This is a secret place, and they go to this nation after school. I think students need to read it because they need imagination. Students image in their mind then they can create. Every new things are form imagination. So I think students need read this book.
