This book it is very interesting, it have so many positive energy in this dark society.
In the start of this book, George was with Lennie. Lennie was a little bit different with normal people, so many people are inequality with Lennie, but George not. They worked together, they lived together, and it just like brother and some times their relationship are better than brother. When they need a job, they find job together, when Lennie lost some things, George help him to find. When lose the job because Lennie, George didn`t say anything, he just going to find next one. In the real society they lived, I think there didn`t have so many people like George, because so many people do not have time or energy to help others. Like this book said “they people lived in this town they didn`t trust others they just do their own work.
In other way I think this book are interesting, because in the end of this book the dream are all achieve. George and Lennie want a farm that they can plant their food, and Lennie want a rabbit to play with him. At last, through their effort they got a farm to framing and Lennie got his own rabbit. This book is encouraging people, that if you have dream and you pay effort on that, you will be success.
100 years ago, they might have so many wars around them. This book maybe want people didn`t disappointed on their life. The author wants people have a dream like the characters in this book, if you have dream maybe you will success at last, and their have so many probability around you.

The end of the book is sad.It tells us that Lennie is dead. And the killer is Georgia. I think it is hard for us to feel the emotions that Georgia had nowadays. However, we can understand why Georgia has to kill Lennie. I think the reason is that Georgia loves Lennie too much. They are just like brothers. Georgia doesn't want others to bother Lennie and make him get into troubles. But he has no power and rights to do these things. The only thing he can do and help Lennie is to kill Lennie by himself and let Lennie pass away peacefully. Accordingly, he killed Lennie painfully. From the end of the book, I learnt about the ugliness of the society at that time in America. And I think both Lennie and Curly's wife are living in a discriminated world. They have no choice to do the things they want to do. Even though a little wish cannot be realized. I think the influence of the book can never be forgot by people. We should keep them in our minds.

A SHORT TALK ABOUT THE DREAM AND THE DREAM CATCHER
As we all know, nearly everyone has a dream. Some of their dreams are unpractical, some of their dreams are inspirational, and the other dreams are very simple.
George and Lennie are simple dream catchers . They work in other to make their dream come true. But it is impossible to make their dream come true during those days.Although keeping a farm is just a dream, they never give up.
There is a saying: The whirligig is the most ruthless game, it severs you and your dream in a everlasting distance. I think this saying is just fit Lennie and George. No matter how they work hard, they won't success in the end.And the most important thing is they are still keeping running after their dream(until Lennie is killed). I think this might be the point the writer wants to tell us. No matter whether it will come true, if you have a dream, just keep on following and trying to make it come true. If my memory is correct, the last secretary of state Hillary Clinton has had a speech and she said"See, you can be anything you want to be.". I am agree with her words. You have a dream, you try hard to make the dream come true, you will make it., although you failed, you are a good dream catcher as well.
I have a dream, not as great as Lincoln's, not as great as Washington's , and not as great as Martin Luther King's. I just want to develop a kind of medicine that could make people live longer,keep our body from senility, that's all. So I am studing hard. Maybe one day I'll success. If I failed, I could say I have no regret, cause I tried.
