Homework for Lesson #31, Never Let Me Go

We are moving on to our final book, Never Let Me Go, by Kazoo Ishiguro. This will be a change of pace from the short stories we've been studying. Please read pages 1-48 of this book (chapters 1-4).

For your writing assignment, please write an essay (at least 250 words) that discusses the differences of writing styles between the 19th century literature and a modern day story--the Poe stories and this new book by Ishiguro. Highlight any similarities and differences you notice in reading the two. Do both writing styles evoke different emotions from you when you read them?
