I would consider the fall of the house of Usher a tragedy story. The sorrow style is surrounding it all the time, and the whole process is a process of classic tragedy.

First of all, fall of the house of usher has a sorrow style. It is around the whole passage, and that is also why the protagonist went to see Usher because he feels sorrow. Then, the strange things happening in the house of Usher is also a thing to show that the passage has a very sorrow style. Even to the ending, when the house of Usher fell down, its sorrow and mysterious style had come to a climax.

Second, the plot of the fall of the house of usher is also very sorrow. From when it started, which is when at first the protagonist went to Usher, Poe started to illustrate a sad story. In the middle of the story, Madeline, Usher’s sister, even died. At last, Usher died with Madeline supernaturally, and the protagonist ran out of the place fearfully. The protagonist also shown that he felt a little sorrow for not being able to help Usher. When you saw a story that is full of death, fear, and people running around, it is definitely a tragedy. Poe simply made this tragedy more terrifying and more mysterious.

Due to the above reasons, that is why I think that the fall of the house of Usher is a tragedy.
