Nicole's homework:

How does Sara feel responsible for Charlie? Is she resentful and annoyed? Is she happy about it? How would you feel if you were Sara?

I think Sara soesn't feel happy, she feel she has responsibility to take care of Charlie, because he is the smallest child in this family, especally his brain was always like a three years old child. She doesn't feel resentful and annoyed. if i were Sara, maybe I will be a little annoyed, because if you always talking to a three years old kid, you will be crazy.

Why do you think self-acceptance and self-understanding are important? How do these two aspects affect Sara, Wanda, and Charlie throughout the story?

I think self-acceptance self-understanding are important because if you don't be self-acceptance, you will always think if the others do better than you and think of the teacher says you did a bad job. I think Sara doesn't feel guilty of she didn't watch Charlie carefully. Charlie has too much self-acceptance, he thinks he can find the swans, so he lost. And Wanda, about her boyfriend's motor scooter, she absolutely think it is safe. So she decided to get on it.

George's Homework:

1:I think Sara really does. When she hears Charlie disappeared, she goes out to find Charlie immdiately, but maybe she feels mad and angry as she was searching. I think if one of us have a brother like Charlie, sometimes we will also feel confused and annoyed, that can't be avoided 'cause we have to look after him like a child even he was a early youth. But if we are brothers or sisters of Charlie, none will leave him and go away and ignore him, so I think that is a responsibiliy to the brothers.
2:First, these two aspects are the effective way to be respectful to the others. Self-acceptance can make you be braver and more confident, and self- understanding is like  we have to understand what we've done and what we've got, listen to your heart, regret your mistakes, all of us have to understand ourselves, and then understand the others'. Well, Charlie have to be self-acceptance so he won't be afraid about laughing from the people, So do Sara and Wanda. And self- understanding can comfort themselves to make them stronger, and realize their mistakes and correct it, but the most important is, to accepct a truth that everyone will make mistake.
Those are my opinions.

Berry's Homework:

--How does Sara feel responsible for Charlie? Is she resentful and annoyed? Is she happy about it? How would you feel if you were Sara?

I think Sara is a very responsible person, she can to take care of a child who will not speak, there are a number of diseases. Sometimes she may feel upset, especially when Charlie disappears. But I think most of the time she is very happy, because she loves Charlie. If I were she sometimes I will feel distressed, but you know, when you take care of a kid who have the disease, he was introverted, not good at communicate with people, you will feel you depended on each other, you will especially love him, especially not in your mother。

--Why do you think self-acceptance and self-understanding are important? How do these two aspects affect Sara, Wanda, and Charlie throughout the story?

We are born to have many shortcomings, but we often complain about the shortcomings and not notice of the advantages, if you can not do self— understanding and self— acceptance, we will always admire others, no one is full of confidence in life. Just as Sara has been watching her looks, Charlie has been unable to get rid of some of the shadows, very introverted。
