For homework, please finish reading the book The Hundred Penny Box.

Then, please answer the following on the forum:

1. How do you think Michael feels about his mother and his great-great-aunt?
2. Do you have any grandparents or older relatives who live with you? If so, what is it like? If not, do you wish you did?
3. What do you want to learn more about in the second half of the story?

Please translate the paragraph on p.36  beginning with “But you knew you didn’t need it anymore…one tiny little sack of pennies”

1.Michael thought his mother didn't Aunt Dew very much and Michael thought Aunt Dew was very poor.

2.Yes, I have, My grandparents used to live with me. I feel warm when they live in my home. They were very care about me, they always give me some food to eat and they always share their experience with me. Sometimes my grandfathers played cards with me.

3.I think the story was like the contradiction between a wife and the husband's mather. They always feel dissatiesfied with each other. I think they should understand and make peace each other.

1. Michael thought her mother was officious because she insisted to burn the hundred penny box. He thought Anut Dew was kind and he wanted to protect her and her hundred penny box.

2. No, I don't. I wish I could live with them, because they are old. My parents and I should care about them. Sometimes they are obstinate, and sometimes they are a little bit ignorant. It's easier to take care of them if they live with you.

3. I want to learn more about the solution to the problem( Mike's mother wanted to burn the hundred penny box but Mike wouldn't let his mother do so). This story mainly talked about a conflict in a family so I wanted to learn more about the solution in the next part of the story.
