Hi everyone!

Yesterday, we finished reading The Big Wave by Pearl S. Buck.

For next week, please read Chapters 1-3 in the new book, Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, by Eleanor Coerr.

Remember to write down at least 5 new vocabulary words from the reading including:

-the page number in the book

-context sentence from the book

-definition

We will be reading some passages from the book during class and discussing them.

Please let me know if you have any questions or have trouble getting a copy of the book.
