Homework for 6th class

For homework, please read Ch. 4-6 of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.

On the forum, please answer:

Think about Sadako and her family in these chapters. How does the author show us what they are all feeling? Do you generally believe in the idea of good luck or granted wishes?

Please also come prepared with two questions you have about Ch. 4-6. Your questions can concern what happens to the characters or vocabulary.

Translate the paragraph on p.41 beginning “Gradually the atom bomb disease took away Sadako’s energy….”

The writer use act to describe what they are feeling. Like in first paragraph, Writer use “hurry” to describe sodako were very exciting. I didn’t generally believe in the idea of good luck or granted wishes.
