i enjoyed reading this book because it's a bit interesting. it said a boy named Jesse who is about 10 years old so i can find some point where i agreed with him. my favorite part is page fourteen, the fifth paragraph. it shows how Jesse's life in his family. Jesse must be good to the children younger than him, and his older sisters always make him angry. his life is a bit sad. i learn to don't leave your friend, or you will be sad about that.

I did enjoy reading this book for 2 reasons.  First, I saw the movie that is about this story before, I love that movie and the deep meaning behind it. Secondly, I might feel this story is familiar to me, because just like the summer of the swans, this book tells a story about the country life of a teenager boy in virginia, maybe i can find something in common between these two books.

I love the part which mainly said the music teacher said that Jess has a great gift in drawing while Jesss parents and the other instructors dont care about the hobby of Jess. I think during the long path of life, we need different kinds of encouragement to support our dream. And there is always a person who will give you both compliment and comfort when youre up or down. I feel warm when i read this part, because it reminds me of the experience of being taken cared of when i was a tiny dumb baby.

I enjoyed this book ,too. And we are in agreement that Jess's family life is a little bit pathetic. but i don't really understand why you learn to don't leave your friend, or you will be sad about that.Originally Posted by bob:

I enjoy books. Although it is the first time I read it, but I think there will be a interesting story that is going to happen. I like the part when he first meet Leslie. I think Leslie is a really different girl, different from other girls. I think that they are going to be really good friend. And I was surprised when she won all of the boys. So I think she is really a fantastic girl.
