For homework, please begin reading Many Moons by James Thurber. Read from the book’s beginning to the “The next day she was well again and could get up and go out in the gardens to play” (the part to end on has a large yellow moon on the next page.

To continue to reflect on our discussion in class for Lon Po Po, please write the following:

Describe a time when you were faced with a problem or challenge that you solved by yourself. How is the way you acted similar to how the characters acted in Lon Po Poor “The Little Red Riding Hood” to resolve their problems?
If you found yourself stuck with a wolf, how would you escape the danger?

Please translate the page of Many Moons beginning with “The moon? Exclaimed the Lord High Chamberlain, his eyes widening…” into Chinese. Write down the Chinese translation, because you will use it to translate the text back into English.
