For our next class, please read pages 31-53. The first part of your writing assignments is to continue discussing our question from the end of class today: Should mentally handicapped people join your school? Why or why not? Please post your responses in reply to this post.

In addition, choose 2 of the following questions and post your reply:

1. What do you think of the passage on p. 46? Have you ever felt the same way as Sara does?

2. What happened to Charlie when he was younger?

3. Why is Sara so protective of Charlie?

4. What do we know about Sara, Charlie and Wanda's parents?

Please also be sure to respond to a least one of your classmate's posts.

I think the handicapped people can come to our school if they want but it would be incovenient for both them and us. The school for us may no prepare the special equipments and teachers for the handicapped students and they will feel very difficult to study. I think handicapped students go to the special classes or school doesn't mean a kind of discriminate but a kind of care to those people.
