Hello Guys!!

I am so excited to start reading this new book with you guys and continue on our enriching discussions together!!

For next week, read:

1. The Outsiders chapters 1-3.

2. Create 3 discussion questions to lead with in class. Please post this on the forum or email me.

3. Make a list of all vocabulary words, phrases, or anything you do not understand from the book. You will ask me about all your confusion in class!

4. Research a bit about the 1960s ERA in a USA. We will further talk about this in class.

5. THINK you your IDENTITY and what it means to you. We will be discussing this in class.

***Make sure you keep a journal of all the vocabulary words that you highlight or make note of. When you record, you must record the WORD, the DEFINITION (you may fill this out before or after our discussion about it in class) , the CONTEXT SENTENCE, and the PAGE NUMBER of where you found the words.
