    I really enjoyed reading ”Charlie and the chocolate factory” The book is just like a chocolate itself, and I am a gluttonous child, eating the book greedily.(I am trying to say I like the book very much, the contents inside the book attract me)

    This book is like fairy tales, but it’s different from the other fairy stories. The book not only makes you feel unbelievable, but also contains some truths. I like all the characters that were created by Roald Dahl. Mr.Wonka is a madness man but I think in fact he is a clever person.He didn’t do anything without a purpose. Charlie is a really good, pure character in the book, he is independent, modest, thoughtful child. We can learn a lot from him not because Charlie lived a poor life. Nowadays, people all live in well-decorated houses but we can also possess the good personalities that Charlie has. The other four children in the book are very willful. They can also warn us not to be a willful child.

     My favourite part is the chapter that said Charlie got the golden ticket. Because it gave the readers a surprise ad make the story become circuitous.

Kitty, I LOVE your analogy at the beginning comparing the book to chocolate and you as a reader to a gluttonous child.  This is a perfect example, and very creative!

I also appreciate how you recognized that the book is completely unrealistic in some aspects and very relevant in other aspects.  This is a great insight.

One last thing to keep in mind is that the word "mad" is an adjective.  You don't need the "ness" part added on when you're describing a noun, because "madness" is also a noun!  So Mr. Wonka is a "mad man."
