Dear students,

Welcome to Ivy Labs Summer Academy 2016!!! My name is Sherry Zhang (张谐莉) and I will be your Residential Advisor. I was an RA last year too, and this year I will be the head RA. I hope that you are excited for a month full of adventures, learning, friendships, and personal growth. Our Columbia group includes the 8 girls in High School Prep. It is the best group .

My family is from Zhejiang, China, but my younger sister and I were born and raised in Miami, Florida. I just finished my second year at Brown University, studying Economics and International Relations. This month, I am interning with my local government in Miami, learning about public administration.

In my free time, I enjoy watching TV, reading, playing piano, and eating (hehe). I am part of my school's *K-pop dance* group, which is lots of fun and a good break from hours of studying. I am also involved in Asian American Student's Association and Strait Talk, a group that promotes dialogue about the China-Taiwan relations.

So that's a little about me, and now I would like to know about each of you. I can't wait to read your introductions and meet you soon! wavey
