Writing Assignments: 1. Below is the start of a poem about Little Red Riding Hood. There are blanks in the poem. Try to fill them in with the words shown so that the ending lines rhyme. We will do more of the poem next Saturday before we start the new book. The author of the poem, by the way, is twelve years old.

Assignment 2: Re-write the story about the three sisters in Lon Po Po. Start out by describing how the mother goes away and the wolf comes to visit. See, however, if you can give the story a different ending. We have already read two different endings to the story about a wolf who comes to visit, pretending to be grandmother. Can you write a third version?
