Dear Students,

Now that we have become acquainted, I would like for you to begin posting your homework to the Ivy Labs website as we discussed in class.  Remember: you can still use this email for thoughts and observations you wish to keep in a private forum.  The Ivy Labs forum is a public forum. Like a lot of things in life, there are advantages and disadvantages to both aspects.  Part of Critical Thinking is learning how to value and navigate both spaces.

The website is community.ivylabls.org.  Please follow the instructions below.  If you have any issues logging in, kindly email me and I will help you.

As a reminder: for Thursday class (Critical Thinking A), the assignment is to create a list of the items you would put in the NASA probe with an brief explanation of why you would include them.  I would also be interested to know if there are any "absolutely not" items - items as we discussed that we would not wish to include, and also why not.  In life, the why is sometimes more interesting.

For Saturday class (Critical Thinking Junior A), the the assignment is to write a paragraph explaining your hypothesis as to the exact nature of the relationship between Josh and the author and also why you think what you think.  What is the evidence from the poem that leads you to conclude what you conclude?

Best,
