Here is Jackie's response to the assignment:

I think I have to cross the sea when I will go to America's high school at fifteen years old. I have been to America before with my parents, but this time I have to go there on myself, and work on high school. I'm not going to be afraid because I will have many new friends there. I can play with them and they can help me solving problems. But I will be sad when I leave alone on the plane, and I will miss my mom too. I concern about my grandpas and my grandmas because if they get ill or sick, no one can help them. I think the things that waiting for me are not good at all. If I want to ask a question to my mom, I can't do that, I have to think it by myself. I even can't find a my favorite Chinese restaurant to have lunch, I only can eat America food.
