Silver, This is a beautiful piece of writing, and I love the elegance of the introduction:

His “will” actually plays an important role in the plot’s development, which interestingly says that some are not who they are, and some are not who they seem to be. As a result, change comes to be one of the central themes of this novel.

I like, too, the one line paragraph for emphasis, a real writer's trick.

And from beginning to end, you never lose sight of your central thesis about change being at the heart of the novel.
