A heartfelt congratulations to a young gentleman with a heart as well as a mind! One may want to ask why the District of Columbia is the only District in the country, and not a State. Why not the State of Columbia? The answer may surprise you! Moreover, D.C offers a plethora of opportunities to avail oneself in the nation's government.
