My name is Claire, and I will be your teacher. Right now I am living with you in China, because though I am an engineer at Princeton University, I have taken a gap year to come to Beijing.

One fun fact you can remember me by is that I love to dance! My favorite type of dancing is ballet, but I enjoy modern, jazz, and hip-hop as well. When I was just a little bit older than you are now, I went to New York City to dance at a studio on Broadway for the summer. I danced every day from the morning until the evening and though I was often very tired, I was very happy.

Hello, Everyone. I'm Jay Lin. In an American high school, my students call me Mr. Lin and you can feel free to do the same. As you may or may not know, I used to teach in an American high school and lived in America for 15 years. I was happy to be back in China and am now living in Beijing with my wife and my one-year-old daughter, Camellia. When I'm not working, I spend time swimming and dancing. But unlike Claire, I'm a beginner in dance.

To end this self-introduction, I leave you with a question. What kind of dance do you think I practice?

Hello!  My name is Mr. Stern and I am also a Read With Me instructor at Ivy Labs Education.  I work in the office in New Haven, Connecticut, which is in the United States. Before working at Ivy Labs Education, I went to Clark University where I studied History, Theater, and Education.

Just like Claire, I also love to dance.  I specialize in a hip-hop style of dance called Popping.  Unlike Claire, I am mostly self-taught, but I was on hip-hop dance team for all four years of college.  It seems as though me, Claire, and Mr. Lin need to have a dance contest when I come to China in the Spring!

Hello! My name is Jimmy. My friends in my school call me Xiao xiao because my Chinese name is 朱啸.And I am their sweet cutie pie, because I talk with a sense of humor. I live in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Now I am a student in grade 9 in Caihe experimental middle school. Trust me, I am experiencing the daily grind of high load homework that only occurs in the hell. But my elder relatives passed through my current step, so I believe I can handle the stress easily, too.

Unlike Ms.Claire and Mr. Stern, I cannot dance at all. But I do enjoy the western style music. I like listening to classic music ,chanson and some of the pop songs such as Blake Shelton's country music and Maroon 5's pop songs.

I am a happy boy and I want to be your friend.I think the opportunity of our studying online together is very precious. So I will cherish the time we gather together.

I knew that Ms.Claire and Mr.Stern can dance, that's amazing! I cannot dance at all, but I can play the piano. I have learn it for about 10 years.

I am happy to make friends to you. And I believe that I can improve my English here.

Hi! I'm Nancy Lee and I live in Guangzhou. You can just call me Nancy. I'm a conversable girl in school and I'm looking forward to making friends with you.

I love music especially the classical music and I'm good at playing clarinet and piano. But I can't dance ballet. I enjoy reading books for it can makes me think more. I think it's cool to read the book in the author's mother tongue for the articla is more original.

I think I can end my introduction here and I'm happy to be your classmate.
