Ad for a Mail Order Bride
I'm a father that had two children and I didn't have wife. My wife died when she gave birth to the second child. My children one is a boy, and the other is a girl, the girl is the boy's sister. My son is ***years old, and my daughter is ***years old. Our family is warm and friendly. We live on a farm called***. We are very poor. We sleep, eat, work in a small house. My children have to grow crops and feeds animals everyday. I have to go out to earn money. So if I leave, children have to work on the farm, they can't cook and didn't know what to do when they got a cold. I needed a new wife, and my children need a new mother.

You got it exactly right Jackie. I like your approach. You decided to play on her sympathy (Make your possible bride feel bad for you and want to help). That way she would come and try to make you and your motherless children a home. Great work!

I am Mr. Jacob. I am a loyal, caring, mannered person. I could cook the delicious foods, do the dishes, wash clothes etc. I like to look after the dog, take a walk with my kids, sing songs. The best thing for me is staying in our small but warm house which is in the plains. I have two lovely kids. Active, interesting Caleb and his older sister Anna. She is polite and clever. If you are interested in my family , want to be my wife and my kids’s good mother, please write a letter to me . In your letter I want to know:

This is just terrific Elsa. If Mr. Jacob had written an ad like yours, he would have gotten more than one answer. The sentences are beautifully written, very clear and perfectly connected. Each one flows smoothly into the other. I am impressed too that you know the word "recruit." Fabulous work here.

The sentences have a very clear and graceful style that is quite advanced, for instance:" My daughter is very sweet and kind to people, looking after her younger brother when I am not home." That is a perfect--and rather complex--English sentence. I rather doubt that anyone reading your ad would realize a non-native speaker had written it. Wow!! You just get better and better!
