Lola's Homework:

1.George remained Lennie many times about "Hiding behind the bushes in the place where they slept for the first nigh when Lennie was in trouble, do you think there will be any connection with the things that happen later? Guess what kind of things that will be.
2.Do you think there will be any possibility that George will abandon Lennie? Is George able to solve all the problems that Lennie brings all the time?
My favorite character in this book so far is George. From the beginning of the conversation between George and Lennie we can figure out that Lennie was not bright and had some problem with his brain, and it was George who stayed with him and helped him all the time. They are not even cousins, just friends. Although George said that he would live a better life without Lennie because Lennie always got into trouble and wanted to leave Lennie. But he was only complaining, he never meant to do it. So when Lennie kept on repeating"If you don't want me i can go off in the hills and find a cave. I can go away any time." ,George was determined to stay with Lennie. I try to imagine this kind of situation, and i find out that life would be so hard with a guy like Lennie around, you even don't know would there be any food to eat or place to sleep for tomorrow. That seems my whole life is out of control, and i don't know how long i can bear this kind of life. So looking back to this book, i find that George was really great and unselfish and i like him very much.
