1. You are not allowed to stay outside the camp after sunset without permission. 2. You should respect other people on the island. You will be punished if physical and mental injuries involving you occur. 3. Stealing, robbing and plagiarism are strictly forbidden. 4. Help others, especially children, the old, the weak and the ones that are not professional in certain fields. 5. Communicate with others and keep optimistic. You will be punished if you don’t keep in touch with other people frequently or if you try to persuade other people with pessimistic and dangerous words. 6. You will be awarded if you contribute to this society. For example: to save lives, to have a new idea with enhances people’s safety or health. 7. All trades should be reported and should follow the trading rules. 8. Do not use, eat or carry unidentified items or to bring strangers to the camp without permission. 9. When danger comes, let the weaker people go first. 10. Concentrate on your work. Do not spend too much time in unhelpful issues

These are some interesting rules.  I would like to focus on something in Rule 5.  You say one should not communicate using "pessimistic" words.  The definition of pessimistic, is as you know, the opposite of optimistic, which means "negative."  What if for example, the truth is negative?  Say, a storm is coming, or a crop is diseased, or a person is ill and dying, or there is criticism of the group leader.  Would you censor these kinds of communication?

 

Also, can you elaborate on what you mean by trade routes?  The U.S is trying to negotiate a fast track trade deal with Asia as we speak.  Business if for it; environmental groups are against it.  Obviously, President Obama is for it, too.
