Reply to "Reading and Writing Assignments for 8/25/16 25th class"

Here is Berry's response to the assignment, which she turned into a pretend introduction to Salva as a speaker.

Hello ladies and gentlemen ,welcome to attend my lecture.Today,it is an honor for me to invite a legend who is a great charitarian in twenty-first Century. Before he come on the stage, please allow me to introduce him,our hero, the famous charitarian, the unprecedented great man--Salva Mawien Dut Ariik!

As we know,Mr.Dut offered a great assessment to Sudan,he driled the thousands of wells, helped local people have clean water to drink,he is a brave man, dared to fight with city hall and got win. Mr.Dut wrote his experience in the book called 'A Long Walk to Water' and gained the big success.I am sure everyone will remember his stirring and thought-provoking words:

I overcame all the difficult situations of my past because of the hope and perseverance that I had. I would have not made it without these two things. To young people, I would like to say: Stay calm when things are hard or not going right with you. You will get through it when you persevere instead of quitting. Quitting leads to much less happiness in life than perseverance and hope.

It is said that Mr.Dut has received a lot of letters from readers who wanted to discuss something about his words. Now,i am pretty sure,Mr. Dut certainly has had enough experience on which to base his advice.

Actually, Mr.Dut met a lot of frustrations during his ''journey'',especially when his uncle was died, nobody can protect him any more. But German philosopher* Friedrich Nietzsche said that which doesn't destroy us only makes us stronger,i believe Mr.Dut always remained his strong mind and belief.Well, absolutely, his felt fear, but what braced him when he felt hopeless? i believe is family ties. he wanted to find his parents,he know his uncle wanted him to survive, and these elements made him keep calm. Because of these,Mr.Dut use his wondrous perseverance, got over so many frustrations, and led many boys arrived refugee camps.Otherwise, maybe he would give up his iive.

If he really gives up his live, what a pity! So from it,we should learn something--keep calm and use your perseverance to get over the frustrations. In any case, you must remember to keep calm.If you really think you cannot brace any more, think about future, your parents,or something else which you expect.Last works,if you don't meet hopeless, you never find how big strength you have.

ok,now, prepare your clapping, let us welcome our star-----Salva Mawien Dut Ariik!
