Daniel's Homework:

1st:According to the passage, we know that can’t talk. This is because there is a serious ill when he is very young. Because of this, Sara must take care of him all the time. Just like Wanda said “Charlie is our problem.”

2nd: Yes, I do. In grade 5 ,I was the asked to be the student whose job is help teacher collect the exercise book. When others go out and play, I must sit in the classroom to collect the books. Sometimes ,i want to have a rest, but I must finish my task. That makes me frustrated.

5th:They both died, and their aunt take care of them.

Nicole's homework:

2.  Have you ever felt frustrated about responsibility (like taking care of a brother) the same way as Sara does?

Yes, I have. Because there is a special need kid in my class too. And the teacher always let me to take care of him. So when he is doing something wrong, I have to say, 'you are doing a wrong thing.' But every time I say that, he didn't know what I am talking about. So I have to explain. And he never know what I am talking about. And finally, the teacher has to give a punishment to me and him.

3.What happened to Charlie when he was younger?

When Charlie was three, he had had two illnesses, which had almost taken his life and had damaged his brain.

4.Why is Sara so protective of Charlie?

I think there are two reasons. One is, Charlie is her brother, she has two take care of brothers. The another reason is, Charlie is a 'special needs' kid. If there is any thing wrong with him, it will be dangerous.
