Predicting Character Traits. Sometimes people’s names give away clues about who they are, especially in stories. Write your first impression about each of these characters and how you predict they will act in the story: Turtle, Barney Northrup, Berthe Crow, Sydelle Pulaski, James Hoo, Angela Wexler, Theo Theodorakis, Samuel Westing, Judge J.J. Ford, Flora Baumbach, Sandy McSouthers.

Think about your name. Without knowing you at all, what would someone predict your personality would be like based only on your name?
