1. Brides play a very big role in the books we just finished, Jessie Came Across the Sea. Please write a sentence or two saying how brides helped Jessie earn the money to bring her grandmother to America. Then write another sentence saying who became a bride at the story's end.

2. For Lon Po Po please read until the page that ends "but Shang had seen the wolf's hairy face." I hope you like this fairy tale as much as I do.

1.When Jessie was very young,her grandmother taught her to make lace on the clothes.So when she came to America,she helped cousin Kay to make the lace on the wedding dress and earn a lot of money .

2.In the end, Jessie and Lou loved each other,and Jessie became the bride.
